Newborn Session: $200
-Session includes up to a 2 hr session that takes place ibn my house in Brodheadsville, PA
-Photographers time and talent
-A CD of 20 edited images with a print release

I can travel to your house for the portraits for an extra $75, BUT this is most likely not available in my busy months from spring to fall. This price is for within 25 miles of Brodheadsville, PA.

The best time to photograph newborns is 3-14 days old, while they are still super sleepy. I provide all the hats, headbands, blankets, and props. And if you have something special you want to use of your own we can absolutely do it! I’ll find the best available light in your home (a large living room window or sliding glass doors are perfect) let's raise up the heat, and we are set! I keep the newbies naked for the entire session, so there is no need for clothing during the session. Please don’t worry about them peeing (or worse) on my things, because it is just BOUND to happen. I will absolutely do laundry when sweet pictures are the end result! To capture this precious time, please schedule your session in advance.

What to wear:
This is one of the top questions I get asked, “What should we wear?”. There are plenty of choices! I love bright colors, I love jeans, I love cute dresses for little girls… anything goes! Here are some tips:
-Don't be afraid of color or patterns. Vibrant colors and simple patterns photograph very well and can really make images pop! Avoid logos, characters, words, etc. because it is distracting.
-Don't be matchy! You want to compliment each other, not look identical. You could choose for example jewel tone colors (2-4 colors), and have everyone stick to that color palette but not wear the exact same color. If you find a piece of patterned clothing for one person with colors you really like, pulling the colors from that works great also!
-Layer and accessorize! Think scarves, jackets, hats, etc. And if you have a special family quilt, or if the kids have a favorite stuffed animal that you would like to remember years down the road, bring them! This will help make the images more personal and fun, and help create a uniquely you portrait.
-A smile. Bring it, this is most important! Being relaxed, having fun (or pretending to, if things aren't going as you hoped) will show the most in your images. Be silly, laugh, joke, jump around and have FUN. Just be yourself!
